Andy Hallett who played "The Host" on Angel was in Australia for The Friends of Science Fiction Fan Club in 2002.

Andy Hallett was in Australia with Mark Lutz who guests as the half-human "Groosalugg" on "Angel". They both share a love of game shows and comedian Paul Lynde.

Andy has hosted karoke nights in LA often, so the role of "The Host" isn't a stretch.

I agree with below poster they had what I call the Angel curse they both died at 33 :( glenn Quinn had a heroin overdose and andy Hallett died of congestive heart failure stemming from a dental infection that went to his blood stream and heart :( RIP andy xx
