hi,

1. i don't understand what you mean, eplain me what do yo want to know

2. you can use 8 pads and the kick, so you can have the snare, hihat, 4 cymbals and 2 toms, or 1 snare,hihat, 3 toms and 3 cymbals,...., whatever you want

3. yes, i have a double pedal and i can use it like in a normal bass drum, it sound well

you just have to buy another cymbal pad, one jack to jack cable and any cymbal stand. then, you just have to connect the cable to the bass drum. the 3rd cymbal normaly sounds like a china, but you can change it ;)
