@Rgvfan12 Try hitting a round ball with a round bat, squarely with pitches moving faster than the blink of an eye. (A 95 MPH fastball from 6 feet 6 inches is faster than the blink of an eye, look it up). So its not boring garbage. And no body uses steroids anymore.

@Rgvfan12 You're comparing the NBA Eastern Finals to a baseball game between two non-contending teams. Game 7 of the World Series this year got better ratings than Game 6 of the NBA Finals. Baseball is exciting to people who play, follow, and understand the game. I could fall asleep at a NBA game, but at a MLB game, I would be all over it, even if it was the Padres and the Pirates. Also, baseball is harder.

@HockeyMX they need to force it, more ppl watch it so they cater to the audience. if NHL was more popular, it would be on espn. nhl vs. nba no comparison. an average american cant even name 5 nhl players, but many non-sports fans can name nba players.

@HockeyMX MLB is worthless, 3 hours of people just standing around. no running whatsoever and steroids is another problem. NBA has the best athletes in the world, dont ever compare mlb players to nba players. Even if i compare reg season nba game to reg season mlb game, nba is more exciting.

@Rgvfan12 and continuous for people in America. The people who give it a chance and go to a game tend to fall in love with the sport. Granted not everyone will. Which is fine, but I we weren't talking about ratings with NBA and the NHL initially..it was how you were comparing a bad regular season baseball game to an NBA playoff game. Put on a playoff MLB game and its pretty damn exciting in my opinion and I'm sure for a lot others. Basketball is exciting mostly in the last couple mins of a game

@Rgvfan12 MLB is for white people who suck at sports? lol that league nearly has just as many hispanics and blacks so that statement is pointless. And the NHL has lower ratings for a variety of reasons..espn forces that shit on people more than any other sport. Espn doesn't have the rights bc the NHL took big money to be on a network (versus) that not everyone gets in the country. More people can relate to basketball since everyone has played it..same can't be said for hockey. Hockey is too fast
