This was my favorite Disney movie when I was a kid, before the "Disney renaissance". I had it on VHS and watched it just about every single day until my mom got sick of it and told me I wasn't allowed to watch it for like a month I think. :p

My favorite characters are pinocchio and figuro

@fyrsta1 I know what you mean. A couple of months ago I watched Snow White, and had to sit down for a bit because I was so amazed that they managed to put a film like that together in 1937. It's just incredible!

I just realized Pinocchio probably is set in Italy..hehe

this is when movies were better than trailers...

Im 28. This is the first movie I ever saw in the theater as a kid. My mom and dad were afraid I was going to cause a fuss since I was so young. I didnt. I was glued to the screen with my eyes wide open the whole time taking everything in loving every second of it. At true classic.

How the fuck could this be released in 1940? I cant believe it was that long ago.. Even today these styles of cartoons would make people go the theaters! Just fucking amazing Disney, fucking amazing.

Trailers really have come a long way, haven't they?

@TheEccentricKitty It's better than most trailers today which reveal the entire plot outline. i mean this trailer doesn't even show pinnochio's nose grow. thats amazing. this is a good trailer for it's time. considering it was mostly scene in cinemas and theaters because of the lack of widespread tvs like today

Trailers failed back then...
Good news! Both Snow White and Pinocchio are rated 100% on Rotten Tomatoes!

I wonder who is the announcer guy for this trailer. He sounds like Dick Van Dyke, but it cannot be him.
