This Oscar-winning short tells of a bull who preferred to sit under trees and smell flowers to clashing horns with his fellow animals. As luck would have it, an untimely bee reveals Ferdinand's ferocious side via pained howls and wild stomping. This lands him in the bull-fighting arena amidst characters based on Walt's animators with a matador reportedly modeled after Walt himself.

there's a version of the bullfight somewhere, don't think it's in spain, where they omit the bloody stuff and just test their quickness and strength against the animal.
I knew a bull just like ferdinand on a farm I used to work on. Big friendly lout. Problem was, he'd come up and rub his head on your leg looking for attention, and those horns would always somehow find your crotch. Never spiked me, but there were moments I got a little nervous.
This was my step-sister's favorite Disney short when she was little. Just a few weeks ago she went to Spain and saw an actual bullfight. It was a real wake-up call for her. Bullfights may look fun in cartoons, but the truth is they're very horrific and violent.
Ferdinand is a sweet children's story, but if I had a do-nothing boyfriend like Ferinand I would go nuts. On the weekends I want to go bike riding and hiking and I know the Ferinand types aren't up for that.
At 3:15-3:17, is the bee kind of cross as if why did the bee say "buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz" and why would the bee put his hand on head and then turn it's face does that look like that the bee had died because of what happened to the stinger as if did the bee probably die from taking too much bull or whatever is was and why is the bee kind of buzzing and making a sound at 3:15-3:17?
