Sonia Schriber Weitz, survivor of the Krakow ghetto and four camps, remembers the brutality of Bergen-Belsen and especially of roll call there. She recites her poem "Icicles," about how she felt while having to stand for 14 hours in the bitter cold.

  • I also survived the Holocaust. G_d saved my life so that I could tell the gentiles my story.

    YHWH told me to ask the gentiles for their money. Dr. Mengele tried to kill me but G_d kept me alive.
