  • I agree Volfmech. I had a new 1996 620ti for 35,000 miles as my company car and I can still say it was the most enjoyable car I ever had in 25 years of driving. I had it up to 150 miles per hour in Germany - spectacular!

I own 3 cars at the moment including a Subaru Forester Turbo which is a close second (in enjoyment).

  • Ive got a 620ti and I love it so much. So much fun annoying those who think just as its a Rover, it hasnt got the power... Ooohh no! As I blast away with a lovely drop of the gears and the roar of the Turbo kicks in. :D

  • I just bought a 96 620ti and I love it too! Totally understated.

  • I had a 600ti 5 years ago and sold it, biggest car mistake I've ever made, I've been through numerous cars since and none come close so last month I bought myself another ti, I'm a happy driver again now.

  • 620ti........the best car!!!

  • Nagyon jó auto!!! Király!! Nekem is ez van :-))

  • @Madhouse2332 neather of mine had any breakdowns or real trouble until the gearbox let go.

the bearings in the gearbox are crap and arent up to the job of using 200bhp but they can be upgraded to steel caged bearings, the headgaskets are crap and prone to go but these can also be upgraded, if you find 1 that has already had the headgasket upgraded your onto a winner, dont buy 1 of these cars claiming 250+bhp that doesnt mention HG upgrade or it wont last 5 minutes.

  • @winjinsinjon i was thinking on buying one. how good are they built? are they

    reliable are they?

  • Very good car. Classic wolf in sheep's clothing. The only thing that lets it down is the slightly sloppy steering and the fact the clutch/gearbox wear quickly due to the power. Still huge fun though. The look on type-R / GTI / ST drivers faces when you get past them is quite amusing.

  • i've had 2 of these every single time i drove it, it put a smile on my face, fantastic cars capable of stupid speeds, i once upset a porche driver on the m1, i dont think he liked a nasty cheap old rover keeping up with him.
