The Andrews Sisters look pretty horrible here, in their debut film. They were already big singing stars and they'd do well in other low-budget Universal Studios musicals like this one later on, but to start out in Hollywood like this was not auspicious. I recall a quote from Maxene (?) saying that they thought they looked like "zombies" here.

Wathching this clip was alot of fun, especially since I was born and raised in Bklyn, NY too. Those wonderful Ritz brothers did it up just fine!!!
