What I always liked most about this station ID was the background, and the futuristic NYC that might someday come true. Now if those idiots would actually BUILD those towers at the WTC site, it might begin to look something like what's in this video but I doubt that will ever happen.

aww! this reminds me of all of the full house reruns i watched in the mid 90's from the scranton/wilkes-barre market. i'd forgotten about this ID, which pretty much played somewhere before/during/after every episode.

the rebranding happened today. Now they are WPIX 11 Home of The CW. Its kinda similar in styling to what KTLA and WGN uses.

No need to worry no more. Starting in December, CW 11 will rebrand to its original moniker, WPIX Channel 11, and the most of all this, they are bringing back the iconic "Circle 11" logo.

I believe it was either just Channel 11 or WPIX Channel 11. Remember, before the WB started to exist in 1995, WPIX Channel 11 was an independent station.
