hi!--- please help.... with oil painting..and fat over lean ... while painting & using mediums... does each layer need to be dry before painting another layer on top? or can it be semi dry like sticky wet? thankssssssssssssssssss:)

This is great. I am just starting out with oils and this is extremely helpful. I can't believe that I have never been taught this stuff in all my art classes. I'm in college (still taking art classes of course) but no one bothers to teach this stuff for some reason. So, thank you!
