  • MOST PEOPLE DONT KNOW........THIS IS THE RAPPER- ICECUBE.......FATHER.......

  • @djones63007 For real?

  • I have listened to the original version and I like it but much prefer this one, the vocals are clearer, more distinct and he has more attitude, I think. Dig it!

  • This version from "A Sweet Taste Of Westbound" is an out-take version, different from his album (or "Original Eight Mile").

  • @ujudkma I love this version, must check out the others!

  • I like both versions, How many cuts on this album And could you post the rest. Also looking for Bernie Worrell, Gary Shider, and Mutiny on mamaship

  • @MrBender247 I found this track on a compilation called "A Sweet Taste Of Westbound" - It's awesome!

  • @djones63007 man whoever told u this is ice cube daddy straight up lied

  • This version is nice. Different music arrangement, strong drumming and nice electric piano solo. It's cool to hear Fuzzy doing his thang. However, if I had to choose; I'd go with the Parlet version. I like the musical arrangement on the Parlet version and George's vocals are on hit. Oh, and I love Bootsy on bass on the Parlet version.

  • Prince's version is awesome. Didn't know there was an original before his.

  • I like this version

  • @MrBender247

There is also another FUZZY version HEAVY & TIGHT on compilation Cd

The Original Eight Mile: Westbound Records 40th anniversary

I love all 3 Versions But For Heavy Tight and Thumpin Bass with more clean Vocals FIND this one that I speak of ~~ U won't be disappointed

  • @regvision There is also another FUZZY version HEAVY & TIGHT on compilation Cd

  • THIS VERSION OF COOKIE JAR IS FAR MORE SUPERIOR THAN THAT OF PARLET AND THIS IS COMMING FROM A DIE HARD PARLET FAN

  • This is a different version of the one on his album.

  • @scoobyjenkins Take my word, you may find them equally good. I dig both!

  • love it ♥

  • @jam4him1 I never heard the Parlets version before, I like it! Not sure which I like best, Fuzzy has more attitude but to hear George is good and the ladies sound sweet.

  • i like this version as well but Parlets version is tight to ...especially on the breakdown where you can hear George singing with them...them females was sanging.....thats right i said sanging...but on the real it's all FUNKY

  • @funkfan48 True Dat,got much heavier intrumentations.

  • This is MUCH BETTER than Parlet's version!
