All of you who say this is dumb because of the police escorts are stupid. This isn't the death of skateboarding, it's progression. You obviously don't care about skateboarding then if you would rather not be able to skate a spot and be confined to the parks without paying a hefty fine. And skating isn't supposed to be anything, it's what you make of it. And if you can't come back at this with an intelligent argument don't at all.

so what if you "have to wear jerseys". if you really love skateboarding you would want to do it as much as you can, regardless.

on a last note, i reckon the police escorts only ease the stigma most people associate with skateboarding. sure, not everyone can afford to have them around to enable them to skate particular spots, but it proves a point: Skateboarding is not illegal. It is not destructive. Skateboarding is creative.
