Mille Miglia, the historic car race with its top-class participants from the aristocratic, industrial, financial and high-society circles, celebrates its 80th birthday this year. This jubilee inspired film-maker Philip Selkirk and photographer Stephan Heimann to film the first feature-length documentary about this legendary racing event. "Mille Miglia -- The Spirit of a Legend" will have its world premiere on May 15th in the northern Italian city of Brescia, two days before the start of this year's anniversary race.

  • 1:01 I want to go to Italy simply to witness the mad style exhibited by the general populace, forsure

  • fantastic movie seen it already at "bigmovies4free", anybody else seen it? a really fun film

  • James Martin is a great guy and i enjoyed his documentary very much. It's great to see he has so much passion for cars and racing and i'm sure he will be successful in the next milla miglia once those Maserati valves are fixed.

  • check online if you can unlock it to multi region

should have the serial number or product number of your dvd player an do a google search with crack at the end

might be lucky enough to be able to unlock it so you can see dvd's from all regions

  • yea my Dad has a 1951 MG TD

I have a MG B myself sure gets alot of looks

an there not fast ether but they don't need to be.

  • Today there are too many regulations and things, cars dont look as good and this sort of race would be impossible. There is a new mille miglia but there are cuts in between, it is not all at once.

What I love most of the glory days of driving is how the crouds got so ethusiastic only by the mear presence of the car. Sometimes I really want to go back t those days.

  • The glory days of driving

shame they don't make cars so iconic as those these days, but times change there iconic in there own ways.
