The Senate has voted to repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," allowing gays to serve openly in the military. Whit Johnson explains how this 17-year-old policy is coming to an end.
@spencerchef see this is why i cant talk to liberals like you. im taking my argument from experience. yes the military is well diciplined but we're still human. dont ask dont tell is for practical use. the reason women arent in front line duty is because the military doesnt want lust getting in the way of combat duty and the same goes for gays. they also make many straight people "especially christians" uncomfortible which is a breeding ground for hazing.
@M11ty i dont give a shit what youve done, i give a shit about you saying gays arnt worthy of being respected...thats just bigoted. And if you are in the military, id ask you to get out, or get yourself killed
@spencerchef its the turth, its the same as stuents finding out there teacher was gay. i never said troops dont dinounce obama. the difference between you and me in that i have first hand experience pf what im talking about, the closest thing you have done toward the military is probably getting a high score on COD
@M11ty the basis of you saying troops would loose respect if they found out a superior is gay. IS FUCKING RETARDED! republican troops dont denounce obama, there commander in chief cus hes a democrat, same way they dont disenvow gay superiors. Im a straight guy and you make me sick.
EVERYONE: dont ask, dont tell is NOT meant to demonize gays like the liberals claim. its meant to keep te chain of command working. if a unit found out there leader was gay many would lose the valuable respect for the person that would be needed to normaly run the unit. the law doesnt say you cant be gay and in the military it just says dont come out of the closet when your in the military. i dont get why thats so bad
