This is the first in a series of what I call Rhythm Shines. The shines are performed to a specific rhythm, but can be done to any track. A percussion player, like a bongo player, learns to play free rhythms across basic rhythms. As a dancer you can do the same thing.
I've created a track with the rhythm to help you as you do the shine. After a while you should try to play or chant the rhythm while listening to another track. Once you can do that, you can use the shine on any track.
These rhythm shines clips will not only teach you new shines, but they will also teach you how to think like a percussion player and use that in your dancing.
The audio track is available at the following link:

Really well done for putting this together. I studied the footwork last night and used it on the dance floor tonight. The shine was cool and gave me confidence in the part of my dance I'm weakest at so again, thank you!!

you can't teach any shine steps like this without a huge mirror in front of you so ppl can see what you doing from back and front and then you doing again from side so see left and right ... thanks
