Lila Kara is a Baltimore resident whose home on 1433 West Lombard Street was threatened with foreclosure on January 10, 2012 because she was the victim of predatory lending by Deutsche Bank. On the morning of her planned eviction, Occupy Baltimore held a rally outside her home in an effort to stop it. The Sheriff had planned to arrive at the home between 10 a.m.-noon to carry out the eviction. Except he never showed up.
The Occupy Baltimore people cheered in victory and this video ends with a triumphant Lila Kara entering her home, which was saved from foreclosure on that day.

UPDATE (JANUARY 15, 2012): One day after this video was shot, the Sheriff and an unidentified woman who was widely assumed to be with Deutsche Bank showed up at Lila Kara's home unannounced and evicted her. Details can be found here:
