Does anybody else own the original video of the Whitbread???? My dad's got a copy from his racing days and as he was part of Drum's crew late 80's and 90's, i have benn onboard her countless times, and she still blows me away.....

dude, where did you race, and on what...? tell us more!! DRUM was the Giant of ocean racing in her day - have you read the book, 'One watch at a time'? I recommend it for any DRUM or ocean racing fan.

Great to see this on YouTube. As an owner of the original video and a fan of Skip Novak, this brings back great memories of my ocean racing career. Fantastic song! I recommend the CD that was produced in Japan to promote Drum.

I remember when Simon was going to be sailing on the boat of DRUM. Membering hearing stories about the boat being capsized and shit. I was oh shit I hope not the end of DURAN DURAN. Not Simon survied. But what a story to hear about !!!
