Second Chances // Chapter 61.

[Alora's P.O.V]
I was awoken to a sudden thud on my body every other second. I slowly opened my eyes, to escape the sun beaming through the window. Once my eyes adjusted I couldn't believe my eyes of who was apparently trying to wake me.
"Wakey Wakey Alora." Frankie said, smiling and remaining still for the first time since I saw him.
"Morning Frankie, what's up?" I questioned, smiling at him and sitting up. I scratched the back of my head and rubbed my eyes.
"Madison's birthday, I'll see you downstairs." He said, running down the stairs, leaving me to get ready for Madison's birthday, since it was a pool party type thing. I rose from my bed and went over and shut my door, locking it in case someone might want to come in. I walked over to my closet and pulled out my new bikini I bought with Dani and Hayley when we went on a clothing spree last week. I slipped out of my top and shorts, followed by my underwear. I unclipped my bikini bottoms off their hanger and slipped them on, followed by my top. My bikini was a blue zebra print top and bottom with a few silver chains connected. I slipped on a yellow tub top, and added denim booty shorts and black flip flops. I combed my hair quickly and headed downstairs, out to the pool. Once I was out there, I could tell I was missing out on a game of chicken between, Joe, Hayley, Danielle, and Kevin, while Frankie was playing gently with Madison on the step in the deep end. I recognized Hayley wearing the bikini she bought while we were shopping as well. Her bikini was a leopard print top and bottom with the colors, coral and yellow in them. Danielle was wearing a leopard print as well, but hers was a deep violet, or purplish blue with white. I smiled at them and waved, and then slid out of my shorts, and sliding my tub top down to the ground. I bent over and picked both of them up, setting them on the chair. Right when my top and shorts hit the chair a shattering of a plate echoed through the whole patio. I turned around and saw Nick looking at me, but his eyes slid away immediately and began cleaning up the plate.
"Let me help." I said, walking over and helping pick up the pieces of the shattered plate. He was lucky he didn't have any food on it. Once all the big pieces that could be picked up, were picked up, we both headed inside to throw them away. Once inside, I threw the pieces away and watched as he scratched the back of his head and looking down.
"So, I see something scared you like that one time." I said, smiling at him hoping he remembered.
"Don't even think of saying it." He said looking up at me and shaking his head no as he smiled that smile that made my heart go crazy.
"Why not? Don't want to ruin your macho appearance?" I said jokingly at him.
"It was one time." He whined, giving me he's irritable puppy dog eyes.
"I'm Nick and I'm so macho, but scared of a roach." I said, pretending to be him, by using my guy voice.
"And I'm Alora and I'm so beautiful, and still make me nervous." He said, starting off sounding extremely girly, but ending in his normally voice. I looked at him still trying to comprehend what he said.
"Did you just-" I said, but was cut off as he went back out to the grill, but this time with a plate of hamburgers and hotdogs. I smiled and shook my head as I walked back out to the patio and walked over to Nick.
"You still make me nervous too." I whispered into his ear as I strutted away. I believe I may have left him, speechless.
