From my grandparents' home movies, footage of a parade in downtown New Canaan, CT. We see marching bands, cub scouts, girl scouts, brownies, marching nurses with the Red Cross.

when i moved there, i was a fun-loving kid,

and now that ive moved back to NY, ive noticed that im much more uptight. im not my old self.

Anybody who lives there is, in my mind the luckiest person in the world. Its a truely beautiful place, all those trees.. It makes me want to cry.
