Weight Loss Vlog : Phentermine Jan. 5, 2010

Hi and Happy New Year's to you all! Sorry I've been gone for so long, but I've had not only holidays, work and such to deal with, but I just haven't been able to actually edit and/or upload any of the 4-5 videos I've attempted to get to you. Ugh! :-) As well, my father passed away the day after Christmas, so I've understandably been preoccupied. Thank you to you all & I wish you the BEST on your own personal weight loss journeys! I've lost a total of 47 lbs. now! WooHoo! That's something to shout about! :-D

Are you going to post another video? I don't know if you have posted any videos after this one. I would really like to know how you are progressing. It definitely keeps me positive and less worried about the after effects after I get off the pill. This is definitely a lifestlye change. Congratulations on all of your weight loss!! It's great hearing about your experiences and love that your are soo positive and realistic. Take care!!!

I was doing my research on the pill and I found out that there are different colors that do different do you know anything about that? And which color or capsule are you taking?

There are generic forms and such which will all look different. They should, however, be the same pill as far as the drug itself. Mine were blue and white capsules. It's been over a month since I've seen one, so I can't remember all the details, but it was little blue and white balls inside I believe. :-)

Congrats on doing research! That is SO important if you want to make the best decision for yourself and for your health! Way to Go!

It's quite possible that 30-40 may be enough for the fact that even needing to lose 20lbs is a strain on a person's heart. Keep your appt. and see what the Dr. says. Just keep in mind that if the Dr. doesn't think Phentermine is your answer, he/she may have an alternative solution that you'd like. Good luck and keep us informed!!

Aww dang... I am not overweight, I don't think... I would just like to lose the baby weight I've kept. I just need something to help me, ya know, an extra boost or something. I have a 2 year old son that always keeps me on my toes so I am beat whenever I get a free moment...I could stand to lose at least 30-40lbs, do you think that would be a good enough reason to be prescribed the medicine?

Hi MissJustine, and thank you for your comment. I'd assume you should be over weight in some way to be on Phentermine. But each Dr. may have different requirements before they'd prescribe the drug. I guess my question would be why someone would want to take Phentermine unless they were indeed overweight. ;-)

My husband was denied the pill @ the same Dr. I go to. The Dr. didn't think he was overweight enough for it.

Perhaps for some, but not for all. With every drug, even over-the-counter ones, there are risks, and for some people, terrible rare problems, but that's not true of everyone.

I in no way ever crashed or gained the weight back. That too may happen to some, but not to all.
