In this episode of Icons we learn about Capcoms most well received, and greatest game franchise ever - Megaman. Learn about how the games came to be and how it struggled in the move from the 8-Bit to the 16-Bit era.

@IconsArchive I guess it was G4s screwing programming that made me think it was the opposite. Because in 2003ish I was watching Game Makers. Then later on new shows , one with Kevin Smith, they were calling it Icons and weren't really highlight games anymore but celebrities.

This is weird. I have some documentaries with the exact same style , about games, same narrator, same graphic intro.. but instead of "Icons" it says, "Game Makers." What was the difference? Did they just decide to change the name later or something?

@hootyhaha First off sorry for the late reply.
Back when the show first aired it was called "Icons" and later on when G4 was altering it's programming they made Icons into a show about various Icons in entertainment and pretty much ignored video games. To keep people from being confused the renamed the first 3 seasons of Icons into what you know as "Game Makers."
