The reason is because the varsity drum line, usually the only line to play the field show, is made up almost entirely of seniors this year...the directors decided to give the JV guys some needed experience by marching the closer of the show.

They actually have 3 drumlines. But if you're asking why 2 drumlines are in the show...well it's just for effect.
I mean...show it off if you can, right?
