Totally agree. He sounded much better when he was using ESPs and Jacksons. I seriously don't like his Les Paul sound to be honest. The best Buckethead was still from the 90s in my opinion.

damn he sounds more much powerful and better with his old jacksons..it sounds better than any of his new les pauls, classic Bh to bad i was little to see buckethead or even know who he was at the time..lucky people this is buckethead at his prime
