@mm7424 According to what your country's government will tell you, anyway. Israel gave Egypt the Sinai peninsula after the Yom Kippur war, as part of a peace treaty with them. Egypt didn't take it over by force, it was given to them as a gift.

@Ariana321 Yeah but you gotta remember the F-22 and F-15 air superioty fighter is a political weapon too. Israel got F-15s at the same time the USAF recieved because America is giving pressure to the Arab world to lift their oil embargo.

do u believe ur self when u say that israel the nation who wanted to invade egypt it gave egypt a piece of sinai land as gift this is beyond insanity they gave it to egypt to end the war with it because 1973 was a surprise to israel and they felt they can't estimate the egyptian force and tell u something about force Parlief line was backthen the toughest defense line in the world and egyptian army crossed the canal which was full of mines and destroyed the line and i feel u support israel

@mm7424 Israel didn't "want to invade Egypt". And is your claim that you "feel I support Israel" supposed to be some sort of accusation?
What the hell were you brainwashed to believe about Israel?!
Look, I'm not getting paid for hearing you bullshit - read about what happened in October 12 (1973 of course), then speak to me again.

@mm7424 Israeli pilots were not known for shooting ejected pilots, so he's one of many, which is nothing to gloat about.
I don't know if Egyptian pilots shot at parachuting pilots, but I know at the least that the Syrians have (heard stories about it first-hand).
The fight was over air dominance, not revenge nor hatred, so his survival is irrelevant. Other than that, if anything, you may call the act of endangering yourself in a fight "heroic", while survival is merely a matter of luck.

@FireStorm81318 i agree with u but that pilot talked about another dogfight and he said his friend's plane was on fire but he saw a israeli phantom he shooted it down then ejected himself from the plane another israeli plane shot after he was ejected and the bullets cut his leg and he died in the desert

@mm7424 And I can tell you about an IAF pilot who took down 3 Syrian aircraft, and shot none of the ejected pilots (nor did his wingmen). He eventually fell captive after losing his aircraft to a SAM - he was shot in the air and was badly injured, his copilot died. The irony is that those whom he spared may have been the same ones who injured him and killed his friend.
