I like the Germs as much as anyone but to me, if punk taught me anything it is to destroy symbols--stop making Darby an icon! If he says or does something really fucked up (and ya know I think making fun of a dead person is pretty fucked up) it is not OK just because you like his music or because it happened a long time ago!!!
