if i were you i would totally strip the stirrups off the tack;that way the horse wont get irretated with it banging against its side.. pretty posture tho! man your lucky;were i ride we have to do no stirrups but posting trott and stuff.. yeah it sorta hurts. lol

lol yeah, it wasnt like a whole lesson w/o stirrups. this is old... i usually cross them over but it wasnt necessary at the time.

yeah, we have to post the trot, canter and jump w/o them! haha. in this vid i was posting but then she told me to sit.

my god woman if ur doing non stirrup work u have to actually take away the stirrups! u dont just leave them dangling and irritating/hitting your horse!

it was just randomly in our lesson she said "drop your stirrups" it's not like i had them that way for the whole lesson, just like a couple mintues. and i really doubt they are "irratating" her.

im just trying to help you love. if the stirrups are hitting her sides she will get faster because she'll think youre kicking her on and its easier to fall off, just trying to help!

i can canter no stirrups but i can not trot with out stirrups without feeling like im tipping over

i fell the ova day cantering with stirrups felt reli embarced but i lost my balance reli bad and now i feel stupid lol xx hope u were ok and that was a gr8 vid u looked reli smooth during the canter and ur transition frok canter to trot was good =]

Great job on the canter! i just recently fell while i was cantering...and 2 days ago was my first time since my fall. in my fall the horse fell too, so it was pretty bad!
