  • I have spent years fishing the San Louis and O'neal forebay. Have lost many monster stripers there over 40 & 50 lbs. It is only a matter of time before the next world record fresh water striper come out of there. Keep up the good fishing.

  • Thanks. What places do you fish?

  • Pretty small for the forbay... They're usually atleast 15 lbs

  • wow dude i think he gose to my school. thats are baseball hat lol Tbirds aka thunder birds dinuba. n thats neer the forebay i always fish there

  • i agree san luis and oneill forebay are the next world record. were talking 70plus pounds

ive seen injured shad on the topwater of san luis reservoir at 15"

so the mosnster must have been huge!

one day i was hsore fishing at the boat ramp and seen alot of splashing in 1 foot of water i though it was ducks but i realized 25" stripers were attacking shad. so i grabbed my rod, rapala minnow and tossed it in front of the school and nailed some nice stripers

  • nice striper.

  • When i am after monster stripers, i fish the from the dam with lures at night. U can hear & sometimes see giant stripers attacking giant shads. The big ones run really close on long the dam at night. Lost $500 rod reel by massive fish fishing only 20ft fr shore. After years of fishing there, found out that large schools of stripers circle the resevior every 4 hrs. Have fish stripers fr NC, TN, KS, SC, & GA. 152 holds to best odds for the next world record. They are there, just keep fishing.
