This had a totally different audio before but I had to do audioswap because of copyright. Oops. It turned out to be a much better song for the video, though. (The credits are still for the old one, unfortunately.)

But it was Galadriel that allowed Gimli to pass over the sea the far west, so there was affection from both sides.

@fernandonleticiafan There was something else behind it too - as a member of Noldor High-Elf tribe she was taught by Aulë, the very same god who created the Dwarves. So she understands well the Dwarves' appreciation for craft of hand.
Could say that because she's a member or all three High-Elf tribes, she has learned a lot of understanding and tolerance from them all.

I personally don't like the Dwarves, but maybe I should pull a Legolas and start accepting them for who they are...

I find I like Gimli better with that helmet on.
If it weren't for Galadriel, alot of things wouldn't have happened to the Fellowship. Go Galadriel!

Gimli had respect for Galadriel because she showed him kindness when the other elves were being mean to him and wanted him to be blindfolded and all. Gimli appreciated her kindness and her beauty. It was then that Legolas decided to befriend Gimli because he realized he judged Gimli based on the grudge between the elves and the dwarves. Galadriel paved the way for the friendship between them to be renewed

remember legolas' father thranduil of the woodland realm had imprisoned gimli's father gloin and the rest of thorin & co. in the hobbit...and dwarven memories are loooooooong! forgiveness is a part of what makes gimli so remarkable a character in lotr!
