As I promised to add in response to a comment, here's the link to my article explaining this video in more detail:

  • Sorry about the vague description. I really only put videos up here so I can embed them in articles I'm writing. The specifics of this one will be in an article that will be up tomorrow, so I'll come back and post a link to it so you can read the complete explanation.

  • Get these Christians freaks outta there!! Pray for rain?? gimmie a break... I see little to no difference in christians and the taliban... Both are religious zealots warped by an ancient ideology that urges death and destruction. The world would be a better place w/o these two cults!!

  • My fist oath was 29 yrs ago. I'm still living it. I do understand what it means. It is interesting to me that you immediately assumed I was a Christian in your response. I simply mentioned I did not want a military void of faith. The faith could be from a Jewish, Muslim, etc perspective just as easily. Do you want a military that would be humanistic/secular? My oath includes1st Amendment so I can live my faith openly as much as you can live otherwise. Washington understood.

  • A military void of faith? That' s really laughable.

I don't think you understand the oath taken by the military. It's to protect and defend the Constitution - NOT the Bible.

  • I have no problems with people of faith sharing their faith within the military. That is a free exercise guarantee protected by the first amendment. I would be curious on how these two presented themselves to the military -- as journalist or missionaries? Journalists are often embedded to cover stories. If these two journalists are working from a religious perspective, that too is protected by the first amendment. Do you really want a military void of faith abiding people?

  • Could you add some annotations explain how they are in violation of ethics for embedded journalists?
