aj5650- you've got a good point that she's traveling backwards a bit in her tricks, but she's also doing a lot of double flips linked in the same pass. Her last one looks like full-in, back, full-full. There's not many teams doing passes like that, so I think it's ok for her to travel a little, even if it is more work for the back porter. amazing act!

This lady is nothing less than phenomenal. No doubt about it. But I've been watching other Russian bar dance videos and I noticed some things about this performer in particular: First of all, her tricks are not well centered on the bar. She heavily favors the right end (her left side), which gives the man on that side a greater burden. Second, the bar bearers seem to compensate for her more than I've seen for other performers, in terms of how they move the bar to anticipate her landings.
