Hey everyone. Welcome to Clevver.com. Im Joslyn in Beverly Hills where Its no secret that Miley Cyrus is the reigning tween queen, but it was just a few years ago that Hillary Duffs role as Lizzie McGuire made her the girl to watch. That said, who do you think would come out ahead if the two triple threats went head to head. Would it be Hannah Montana or Lizzy McGuire?

First off, I think its very important to discuss the fact that if there hadnt been a Lizzie Mcguire show, we may never have been introduced to Hannah Montana. The huge success of Lizzy Mcguire paved the way for shows like Hannah Montana and others like Thats so Raven and Kim Possible. In fact, Mileys show was actually created by Terri Minsky, who wrote for Lizzy from 2001 through 2004. Comparisons between the relationships of the lead female characters and their sidekicks in each comedic show are constantly drawn, but truth be told the plotlines of the Disney hits couldnt be more different.

So when it really comes down to it, deciding which show is better is based almost solely on opinion. Some viewers relate more to Lizzies awkward antics, while others love Miley and her alter ego Hannah Montana. Mileys life seems all down-home, with her Tennessee roots, but living in Malibu and being a secret pop star throw a wrench in that angle. On the same note, the cartoon component on the Lizzy Mcguire show makes it just as far from reality.

Either way, both shows had insane ratings. Even Disney will be the first to admit that the success of each tween hit went far beyond their wildest expectations. Both hit shows spawned sold-out concert tours, merchandise galore and feature films.

Personally I think the shows are neck in neck, and I dont really think I will be able to formulate an opinion until Hannah Montana has completed its TV run. But who cares about what I think? What do you guys think? Leave a comment below and let us know!

Hillary Duff!!! Miley Cyrus is a bad role model to kids she dresses all wrong for someone the has 4 year olds look up to her:( my daughter and I watched Lizzie McGuire and I think that is nice and fun show with Hannah Montana I thought different ways the show thought her to be mean to her brother and everything Miley Cyrus is a bad role model!
