No. The film would be extremely unrealistic and fake if all the cast sang perfectly in tune and lyrically.

To convey an intensity of emotion in film that isn't one dimensional and that must constantly change requires a deliberate suspension of singing exactly in tune.

Then again, these guys are singing an entire day in the movie shooting. Its not like they sang it once and it was done. 10 hours of singing wears people down.

It was supposed to be as raw as possible. I saw it as a normal dialogue but sang. It conveyed the emotion and for me that what makes the movie beautiful
