I did this tutorial because there are a bunch of tutorials out there that cover the making of a background, but not how to upload it to youtube and/or the uploading of a background but not how to make one. Here I wanted to give everyone a video that accomplished both so that they didn't have to go looking somewhere else to finish what they already started. This is with the brand New Youtube Layout and so it allows you to create a background that works with new Youtube instead of having to choose to have your channel displayed in the old style just to have the customization.

@456Minecrafter psd is like the standard for anyone using photoshop stuff. I know it is compatible with several different photo editing softwares. Ex: Gimp, Pixlr, Adobe Photoshop. I just made it that so that hopefully everyone can use it.

@TeamSamuraiX1 You can add pictures to any layer you want. Woot! I do recommend putting a new layer though. You can never have too much layer abstraction. O_o
