I was standing at the inside of the corner there literally 5 minutes before he crashed but I had already moved up the hill to the grandstand when it happened.

Look at the sparks at :04 seconds. Looks like a suspension failure, maybe?

I didn't see anything happen to the wing in this video. It looks like he got airborne and lost traction. I don't think he damaged his wing until he hit the barrier. Even after the crash the left wing didn't look as though it was damaged.

@rowmk9 front wing got under the car when he hit the verge so he had no control of steering

what a bizarre accident. that grass verge damaged of blocked the steering of the car so he couldn't turn. thats an issue the with the track that should never happen.

Holly shit! That's a hard hit, especially for it being the Glen! I was in the garage area when they brought his car in, and I just assumed that he lost it in turn 7, because that's where most of the drivers have had the most problems! Glad he was OK after that!
