Words & Rhymes are a Canadian hip-hop duo, consisting of Wordsmith (Andrew Martin), and Gregory Rhymes (Greg Brandt), two emcees that embody the hip-hop culture, and provide hard hitting tracks, with a raw lyrical essence. They formed in the winter of 2007, and in just over three years have evolved into an underground powerhouse, working with some of North America's most promising lyricists, creating a fan base that has spread virally and proressively, worldwide, through their company Words & Rhymes Entertainment.

Since uniting officially as a duo, three albums have come of the two. 2008's "Method To The Madness", which featured some of Canada's most promising beat butchers, and collaborations with 2 of their countries most notable legends, Red 1 (The Rascalz) and Moka Only (Swollen Members). It was independently released and sold upwards of two thousand copies, hand to hand across the country.

They followed up with a few free online releases, strictly for fans, but concluded 2009 with the completion of For The F@#k Of It, an album assembled entirely by Words & Rhymes, featuring underground legends such as Apathy, Celph Titled, Reef The Lost Cauze, King Magnetic (Army Of The Pharoahs), and Eternia. Now with a polished trademark sound, the pair were able to turn to producers from all over the world for their beat selections, and this bled through on this particular release with it's symphonic, orchestra influenced instrumentation and raw, intricate lyrics laced over hard hitting drums.

The album was picked up by Disturbia Music Group (Brooklyn, NY) in January 2010 and released during a European tour in March of the same year. Due to promotional concerns, the two opted to leave the label within months of signing, and have been compiling a new album ever since, which has been officially titled "Wrong Side Of The Tracks". It has been recorded, but is still in the mixing/mastering process. This album features the duo at their apex, having utilized their worldwide production relationships, and turning to many of the artists featured on the previous release to contribute to their newest project. It is without a doubt an underground gem, encompassing more underground industry credibility than most other releases in their genre within Canada. A video for it's lead off single "Gods On The Mic" has been filmed and is slated for release March 2011. It features Canada's own horrorcore fanatics "Psych Ward" and one of the original members of Army Of The Pharoahs, Chief Kamachi.

In the few years these two have been working together, they have been featured on countless mixtapes and albums (Made In Canada Vol.1, 2 and 3, DJ Sarasa - "Mr.B-gir"l (Tokyo, Japan), Snowgoons/Lord Lhus - "Iron Fist" (USA/Europe/Canada), Apos - "Ketchup Sandwiches", ProLogic & DJ Carmelo - "Badda Boom"), and have performed with stars such as The Game, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Lil' Flip, RA The Ruged Man, Royce Da 5'9, Kardinal Offishall, Moka Only, The Rascalz, Chief Kamachi, Reef The Lost Cauze, Riviera Regime and more. They have traveled all over the world, building bridges and networking musically, allowing them to work with the people they have been blessed to build with over their short career together, as well performing across Canada and overseas, in places such as Switzerland, Germany, Amsterdam and Paris.

Words & Rhymes are currently working toward releasing Wrong Side Of The Tracks during their 2011 European Rise And Rhyme tour, with Army Of The Pharoahs icons King Magnetic and Chief Kamachi, covering clubs and festivals across the continent during the summer months.
