Mine sounded like a load of angry bee's coming from the exhaust!...Really loved the car (Except for the rust problem) and if Alfa Romeo bought the alfasud back (Like the mini and the Fiat 500) I'd be first inline, cash in hand for sure.

@215alessio Mine was sound like this when the silencer was broken. But maybe it's the postion of the microphone!

Its not a true original Alfasud sound though - at least as it sounds in the recording. The true Alfasud sound was not half as heavy or blunted. Perhaps you have a non original exhaust or one in which the internal baffles are broken.
The true original sound is far more delicate, crisply sharp and much more raspy with the occasional pop thrown in. .
