@gritzy59 The Kamaka is a great instrument, but I think that at the moment Kanile'a have the edge on them for quality and reliability. As for sound, they are very different, but both good.

Thanks very much for an informative review and demonstration. Does the action on this instrument remain low and easy to manage at the upper frets?

@mediaevalguitartab It is certainly at the right height. A lot of people would want it lower, but a low action makes a ukulele unplayable.

yes it is beautiful, i have been learning the soprano uke and love it. now i want to get a tenor to perform my songs with.
