Or is He a sadist, unworthy of our praise? Well, that's a perfectly normal truth to seek. And I believe that if you seek God with all your heart, he will reveal Himself to you as the loving and merciful Jesus Christ. And you will understand that death in this world is nothing to fear (Jesus conquered the grave!).
