A scientific expedition sees the intrepid two with the son of an older scientist going back to where his Pop went missing. (Yep, you've got it, cue Arnie Sachnussen, the Lost World mob and the plethora of hidden / on top of / under the sea / deep in the earth type plots that would have been even worse without Doug McClure - or would they?, and you are on the right tack, well, apart from Arnie who never quite made it). This time, not T Rexii or huge lizards, but Bird-Men who like to indulge in a little bio-metallic art. But, Soops is soon in his Bill Grundies, and off he goes into the fray.
