  • Thanks very much Matt! i wish there were more reviews like yours on the Inet!

  • Hey great video. Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm pretty sold on the change up but I would like to know your thoughts about using it with a trekking backpack. I'm preparing a 1 year travel n' trekking (yes I'm lucky) and will need to carry the TT sometimes with the big pack n my back. I might make an attachment with ropes to the BP straps. By the way, I will be light on gear. Do you think that might be confortable? Thanks. And bravo for your excellent website.

  • Oh, yeah--I came here from the Think Tank site mainly to thank you for the video and add my vote for the Change Up. It's my most versatile & used bag. For indoor horse shows, I can carry a 70-200 f2.8 IN the bag (it FITS!), 17-55 f.28, two fast primes (e.g., 100 f2 & 50 f1.4), and a mini-DV camcorder, with a flash in the outside pocket. (One lens will be on the camera, of course.) I use other configurations for outdoor dressage shows, cross-country jumping, nature, and other events.

  • @Mattsahib

I have some serious engineering concerns about the R-Strap that I can't go into in this tiny space. Basically, it suspends the camera from the tripod socket, which may not have been designed to take a big tensile (pulling) load. A heavy camera & lens bouncing on the tripod socket might deform the socket or the camera frame. One can use a simple hook-up that does pretty much what the R-strap does WITHOUT that problem.

  • Hey Matt, so after Lumen Dei, which system did you end up preferring?

  • thanks very much Matt!

  • Been looking at them, but all the stories about the failed buckles.... :(
