I seen you told someone the firmwares not on the had well pretty site it depends on which one the slims have the OS on the hdd not the motherboard

@AKstryker23 that makes no sense, if what your saying were true then you wouldn't be able to upgrade the drive without first load the os onto it

Omg i just seen your other vid and you have an external dock allready :O

why dont you plug the drive right into the ps3 drive port and bypass the usb bottle neck ?

male to esata cable you need. or even better. cut a 20mm x 5mm slot into the hard drive cover on the ps3 and fit a male sata to esata female and screw it into place. You only need the cable. drop the usb its 5x faster going direct to the sata port.

There is no need to have anymore than 100 gig for the ps3 anyway.

If you have any .mkv 1080p movies you wish to watch via a wireless ethernet home network you can. so pretty much makes storage size pointless.

Hope pc is all you need with a wireless connection .

Dont stand still move on with the times.

no need to blow money on solid state drives if you have some pc drives hanging around use them.

I have the same bulk yes but i dont have the bottle neck usb gives on read and write speed.

Simple to add a 2 TB drive its been around ever since them drives came out.

You want to think about investing on a male sata to female sata then installing your games that way. avoids the bottle neck usb read and write have.
