Welcome to a quick video about the first Karakuri Ball set from Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger!

This is the first in a series of released accessroies for the DX Hurricaneger Mecha. This set in particular is for use with DX Chogokin Karakuri Kyokan Sunpuujin [DX 超合金 絡繰巨漢旋風神].

The set is called the Goat Hammer [ゴートハンマー] which is the combination of the two included Karakuri Balls...

Karakuri Ball 02 Goat Crusher
Karakuri Ball 03 Tortoise Hammer

カラクリボール 02 ゴートクラッシャー
カラクリボール 03 トータスハンマー

Also included in this set are both Shinobi Medal [シノビメダル] to correspond to each ball.

I've never been a fan of mecha add-ons, but atleast the Karakuri Balls are clever. The way they manage to get each weapon to snuggly fit inside each ball is cool. The Goat Crusher is pretty big once it's put together. The Tortoise Hammer doesn't change much in size, but definitiely looks cool with it's metal chain. When the two are combined into the Goat Hammer, it doesn't look very good...but oh well.

All in all, this is a cool set. It's complimentary to DX Senpuujin, so I dig it.

  • Will you be making videos on the other karakuri balls?

  • Hurrier Senpuujin and the Jusho Fighters were very pointless.

  • @anti4kids2000 Hurrier was lame for time limit. Meh.

Jusho Fighters...I kinda dug them. They probably gave us the most frenetic Sentai Mecha battles ever. The Jusho suits were better looking, but as bulky as a full mecha suit. I just didn't like how they pretty much vanished after the 23rd episode. We saw Battle Saruda ONCE after that...

  • @CCLemon99 Wouldn't the Jusho Fighters be alternate versions of the Giant Jushos rather than a secondary mecha set that is unable to combine?

  • @anti4kids2000 They really can't be alternate versions since they can fight side by side. There was that 10 vs 6 in their debut episode. They're definitely a seperate set of mecha, even though they can't combine.

Plus they could use the Kakuranger Ball. I love the Kakuranger Ball. Hahaa.

  • @Aaronation1984 They may be pointless, but why have it on the show in the first place? At least release balls 02, 03, 05, and 06 in a rectangular prism box with 09 included. That way 09 could sell. Then have 10, 11, 12, and 14 would be a second batch. I have no clue how they could release 13, seeing how they're 10 different versions. There's a red one that has six version and is a flat stamp, and there's a green one that has four versions with a rolling stamp.

  • @GreggMays64 very true and its too bad that Bandai America and Bandai Europe didn't release Karikuri items along with the scarf and stamp for their Power Rangers Ninja Strom release which is a real big shame.

  • @Aaronation1984 Hurricanger had a much better toy release too, even if they make getting a simple scarf and these stamps hard to find.

  • Senpuujin is way better than the Power Rangers Ninja Storm version because there are parts of the Power Rangers version which are not TV Show accurate, what do you think?

  • What are your overall opinion of the Hurricanger mechas. Do you recommend them.

  • @CCLemon99 I guess the Jusho Fighters are a bit like Geki Elephant, Geki Bat, and Geki Shark from Gekiranger.

  • Great review, but I got distracted by the song and started dancing.
