Part 53: This is a multi-part blog where I make the scenery on the river scene on my model railroad.

Music Notes: The music on this video was recorded using Sonar Home Studio Ver 6.0. The drums and keyboards were played on an M-Audio Keystation 61 ES and/or sequenced in the MIDI Editor. The bass used is an SX Fretless Jazz Clone Modded with Dimarzio J Pickups.

  • I noticed that once you've finished laying out your scenery, you've sprayed it with something. Is that just water? Then you apply the white glue, is this correct?

What mix of water and white glue do you use,say roughly 50/50? and final question as its been bugging me, what is that small tube you use to pour the white glue over the scenery,as it works so well?

    Simon

  • @gillyboy71 Is that just water? --> it's a light misting of water with a couple drops of dish washing detergent. The "White" glue is Woodland Scenics Scenic cement. I use and eyedropper to put the glue on.

  • What editing program do you use for the video?

  • @steven92336 Adobe Elements 7.0

  • @thebige61 . Thankyou so much for that valuable advice. The eyedropper is perfect but i just couldn't think what it was you were using.Much appreciate your reply. Fantastic work by the way!!!!!

  • Once again watching you work makes me want to get started on my own layout. Patience .. need to finish the room first .. *sigh*. Listening to the music .. to me .. I sensed an Enya influence there :) (with maybe a touch of Liona Boyd at the end .. haha
