Ibo'Fa (4 of 7)

Following the Wiwe Ifa ritual --- the washing of the Ikin Ifa (i.e., the sacred palm seeds) --- the ceremonial rite of Ibo'Fa is commenced. This seven part video covers the Ibo'Fa ritual where several preliminary prayers are chanted by the Master of ceremonies, Oloye Efuwape Olatunji and his Omo Awos before the ritual sacrifice to Ifa is made. Among the Odus that are prayed is Ose Tura; and the odu of the Ikin Ifa that will receive the blood sacrifice of a bull. Note: After the bull is sacrificed, the bull is cooked and eaten by all the participants in the ceremony.
