  • ther is an arrow on that green cable which way was it pointing again i didnt catch it. is it towards the batt or the vat40

  • @ratko89 :)!! you have to check the CCA on the battery and divide it by 2( 700 /2 = 350 ) this one in the video is a 700 CCA( Cold Cranking Amperage) so you set the amp to 350 cca..during 15 seconds and the voltage is not supposed to drop under 9,6 volts,! ( sorry for my bad english)

  • Was told by the instructor that when you set your amps it shouldn't exceed 300 amps because it damages the battery

  • You are showing very usefull information. Thank you for sharing!

  • The Voltage selector should have been on External rather than Internal and the Volt meter leads attached at the battery terminals. Under high load, there will be a Voltage drop across the load test leads and with the Internal Voltage position selected, the battery Voltage will be read incorrectly.

Battery load for passing OEM spec: 1/2 CCA, and V adjusted for battery temp.

  • 350 A

  • so what was the load for that battery?
