The story (May or not be what the creator actually intended, but this is what the PV suggests)
The Rin and Len seen in the PV have a blue and yellow eye. The scientists wanted Rin, however like Len she has a yellow eye. The creators plan to use Len's eye and then throw him away. (hence the word "donor" in the blood.) This is why there is a red "X" on Len. Anyway, the scientists proceed to kill him in the setting at the beginning of PV, but he apparently got a knife and killed the scientist(s) and then runs away.(yay for killing sprees) He sees behind a door a "failed" Miku being killed (notice the word "donor" on her chest). The sprays of color represent what happens to each kind of "failed" vocaloid. "it is not escaped" is probably a failed Japanese-english translation XD. I think it meant to say "you cannot escape" or somewhere along those lines.
Rin happens upon Len, because he was on the floor in a quite OTL position, the poor Vocaloid doesn't know where to go. Len desperately asks where the exit is. Rin points him the way. Len realizes that he won't be able to escape with Rin, so he leaves her feeling regretful. He starts running towards the said exit. Rin thinks of it as nothing important , but soon happens on a door that says "Rin/ Len - the disposal place". The scientists soon ask Rin where Len went (they were going to dispose of him) and Rin points in the same direction she pointed to Len. Rin then soon realizes the creators' plan. Len had dropped the knife he was carrying near Rin, so she takes advantage of it and uses it to kill the scientists. A (failed) Meiko gives Len a warning. Len is caught despite Rin's killing spree and was about to be killed, but Rin easily disposes of them. Len sees Rin in front of him, holding a knife over him (think Higurashi, Rena about to slice Keiichi) but Len passes out due to fear. Rin then switches clothes with Len before the other scientists drag Rin who is dressed as Len away. Her last words to Len are "You are still a nobody". Rin's blue eye is given to Len and he lives on while Rin is already dead.
I've heard that "you are still a nobody" part is because (to quote) "Kagamine Len, to the world, was already dead"

@capeofdarkness Well, the twins are broken of course. and Len's running, trying to escape from this horrifying place. Rin finds out when she told the people after Len.. she realizes they're trying to kill him. So, Rin kills them and made Len pass out, swapping clothes with him. Then, the people get Rin and Len opens his eyes. Rin is killed and Len has Rin's left eyeball that was blue. o-o
