Many people believe America has a free press and media upholding the best interest of the people. This couldn't be further from the truth. The media is totally controlled by the highest levels of CIA in line with government, corporations, authority and the establishment. The total control of media allows them to alter people's perceptions of reality. People now believe the truth to be lies and lies to be truth. Any story they don't want the public to see is immediately crushed. This is why the disinformation in regards to 9/11 and extraterrestrials have been so successful. The universe is limitless and infinite, don't allow your mind to be constrained in a little box. TV is meant to make you feel isolated and powerless. Respect your mind, turn it off, you have infinite potential to make change!

@djsufferthing I agree, however the first step to fixing something is becoming aware of what's wrong with it. For example the doctor informs you that you have a lung infection (what's wrong) so you can now go and get antiobiotics (to fix it). Now that you are aware there is something horribly wrong with the media you can now do your part and stop watching television, stop reading the newspapers and spread the information to others so they can do the same.
