  • I wrote the past comments last night. watched the clip again and realized that I actually know Garik in the film. my head was about to explode last night trying to remember where I know him from since his face looked so familiar. After watching it again today it all of a sudden dawned on me that I actually worked on his house back in 2006. I've met him just a few times, since he wouldn't come visit as often as his father or his wife, but I remember his face nonetheless.

  • and by the way, I know that some of you may not like my comments and are going to say that I've seen just a couple of examples here and there and I'm generalizing over a large population. believe me, I have seen tons of examples of what I have described (on many of them I have worked myself), and I can surely say that machoism and showing off is inherent in the bukharians (granted, there are exceptions to everything). whether it is good or bad, you be the judge; but it is true.

  • these are people who still think that your house should serve some purpose of shock value to the visitors and passers by. they belive that a real house should have two very long pillars in front of the door, a gargantuan chandelier hanging from the ceiling and have as much gold accents as possible. the fencing outside must be either gold color or stainless steel (preferably the door should be from stainless steel as well), so it will shine under the sun.

  • as for my comment - I know this from experience. I have interacted with them for years on many levels, so I know what I'm talking about (still do, although not as often). Again, a lot of great people among them. don't want to sound as if the whole purpose of my comment is to be negative, but being raised in Central Asia doesn't help; it's like being from another century. One should see some of their houses to know what I mean. Lot of money spent - yes. lavish - yes. tasteful and stylish - NO.

  • disgusting? - yes. am I surprised to see this? - no. after all, let's not forget that these people are basically asians, and by saying asians I don't mean like Japanese or the Iranians. Yes, they do speak farsi and do have roots in Iran, but the fact is that for the last couple millenia they have been in central asia, and that, my friends, is not exactly the definition of "civilized". don't get me wrong, there's some great people among them, but on many levels they behave like nomads.

  • @ongitsavix5 its ok to feed them with your hands buts its fucking nasty when he licks the oil off his hand and goes for another feeding round he basically just shared his mouth with everyone else

  • I am Bukharian and I am saying that it's gross man,why eat with hands if we can eat with spons?

  • hey whats ur problem with the way Bukharians eat? u r nto doing it leave it alone. They enjoy their food likee that. Bukharians have a different way of eatingg just like Asians use chopsticks, we usee our handss! :)

  • if we bukharians BY put hands in mouth, is considered UNCIVILIZED,,, what about you (CIVILIZED) who TAKE ".................." in YOUR mouth, more civilized? WOW !!
