@usbpscm727 Actually, I can't, for the life of me, think why on earth I made that comment 6 months back!!! ?

Som deg vokste jeg opp i Bergen området, og har fulgt med i din karriere. Godt å se en Bergensjente klare seg så godt. Vilja var min more favoritte sang!

Why on earth has she gone 'classical' singing??!
It is terrific to hear her singing some classics, but why so terribly limit one's future as to 'turn classical'?? :(

Vocalallusive, sorry about misunderstood question. I don't think that Hall is of Norwegian origin, I know that it is. They came to America from Ireland. And to Ireland from Scotland. And to Scotland from Norway. No doubt about it. Researched extensively, not up for debate. Thanks for input and opinion.

@roofbolterx5, "Hallr" means stone (a slab of it) in old norwegian and are no longer used. Modern use of "hall" in Norwegian is a transit room in a building which leads everywhere else and is spelled as in english. I don't think there is a clear relationship between "hall" and "helle" (a slab of stone in modern norwegian) in norwegian. It is also used of an indoor sport arena. I'm afraid the name "Hall" do not have it's orgin in Norway so you need other leeds to tell where your name comes from.

@sisselfan I am doing search of family ancestry and found out that my name is Norwegian. Hall is spelled Hallr in Norway according to what I read. Is this spelling of Hall with the r correct. I wondered why I was so captivated by Sissels voice.
