  • Beautiful! Thank you. At the time of these events, Fischer was at the very peak of his powers. This record of 20 consecutive victories against the world's best grandmasters is, as every chess player will tell you, almost impossible. At that level, GMs WERE supposed to be able to draw against any opponent at will. That is one reason Fischer was and still is the best player in chess history, period.

  • Thank you for this great videos of the greatest chess player of the late 1900's. I thought AMC's documentary about Fischer revealed that Fischer had never competed against his opponent Spassky before the world championship match. Anyway, I think they didn't do much research as you have. Thanks again for everything !!
